As prison-based learning becomes more digital, PET needed to upgrade their IT systems to allow for more efficient delivery of their service. The system needed to be suitable for use across multiple sites where facilities may be limited.
We recommended a cloud-based Microsoft system that allowed PET to work remotely and rely less on their centralised systems.
As a result, PET’s operations are much more efficient, streamlining the process for both the internal team and prisoners.
The cloud-based software also proved useful during the Coronavirus pandemic, with remote working becoming seamless and allowing the London and Cardiff offices to work closer than ever before.
Plus, the move to a digital system meant PET were still able to offer their vital services in a COVID-safe manner.
